Shadow Economy - Multiple Perspectives of the Shadow Economy

The economic crisis and the shrinking of tax revenues have given governments all around the world the impetus to address shadow economy more actively. This increasing interest is shared by policymakers, economists and other social scientists, law enforcement agencies and lawmakers, who analyze the issue from distinct perspectives such as labour markets, public finance, taxation, capital markets, law and regulation, criminal activities, and psychology and economic behavior.

The second Interdisciplinary Insights on Fraud and Corruption (I2FC 2014) conference aims to bring together researchers, academics and practitioners from different backgrounds to exchange and share their experiences, ideas, and research results about all aspects of the shadow economy, and discuss the challenges in this field and policies adopted. We invite the submission of theoretical, applied, or policy-oriented research papers that focus on any aspect of the shadow economy to our conference.
